Lapaz Community Senior High School has successfully held its maiden SRC Week Celebration, marking an exciting milestone in the school’s history. The week-long celebration was filled with fun, learning, and creativity as students came together to showcase their talents, teamwork, and school spirit.
The program commenced with a grand launching ceremony, where the SRC executives outlined their goals and the week’s lineup of activities. This was followed by an Inter-House Quiz Competition, which tested students’ intellectual abilities and promoted healthy academic rivalry among the houses.
Students also displayed their culinary skills in a Cooking Competition, which featured a variety of delicious local dishes. One of the major highlights of the week was the float, where students paraded through the community with music, placards, and excitement, proudly representing the school’s theme — “Success for God and Country.”

As part of the celebration, students embarked on an excursion, which provided both educational exposure and an opportunity for relaxation and bonding outside the classroom. The week’s activities climaxed with a maiden pageantry — Miss Lapaz Community SHS, where contestants showcased not just beauty, but intelligence, confidence, and talent.
The maiden SRC Week Celebration was a resounding success, fostering unity, creativity, and leadership among students. The school extends its appreciation to management, staff, and students for their support and active participation, making this first celebration a memorable one.
